Artist: Nathaniel Paderanga
Gallery: Dr. Maxine Merlino Gallery
Nathaniel Paderanga is senior at California State University, Long Beach and is in the BFA drawing and painting program. When he was at San Diego Miramar College, his major was chemistry but switch when he transferred to CSULB. He started painting when he was 18 years old. He prefers to paint social issues.
In his paintings, he uses oil painting on his canvas and paints people or places. Ha]is paintings have a slight texture to them. His paintings are very life like and can see the details of the people and building.
Nathaniel Paderanga paintings are very realistic and he paints things that everyone goes through. In the painting shown in my feature image is Nathaniel’s old house. He went back and saw how messed up his old house was. While painting is old house, he fixed it up, in order for it to look like the house he remembers. That painting is my favorite one and Nathaniel stated that it was also his favorite one for, his exhibit.
Nathaniel Paderanga paintings are amazing and are easy to understand and can see clearly what he is painting. His painting are very realistic and have many great details. If I was a person who buys painting, than I would like buy his paintings. His painting are great and makes me want to try painting, at least as a hobby or to pass time. I will like to see more of his work and hope he has another exhibition.
